Healthy Start Fall 2009 Graduation
Family Road Healthy Start hosted its Fall Graduation at Drusilla Seafood Restaurant on Friday, October 23, 2009. Eighteen (18) graduates were honored for their completion of the Healthy Start program. Guest speaker for the event was Barbara Green, LPC, LMFT of Inner Reflections, LLC. Graduates were given Words of Wisdom and Encouragement by Healthy Start Alumni and Peer Advisor, Tara Sanders. An additional highlight to the event, Healthy Start Graduate, Kimberly Robinson Dicks, read a motivational poem that she had written for the other Healthy Start Graduates. In attendance at the Graduation were Healthy Start Graduates, Family Road Board Members (Joe Alton, Bobby Yarborough, Genevieve Silverman, and Jennifer Treadway Morris) and the Healthy Start Staff.
